Spray Foam Insulation Experts

Considering insulation options for your home and don’t know where to start? Luckily, you can choose from a wide range of options that you believe are ideal. At Radiant Insulation & Drywall, we have experienced experts on board who will guide you throughout the entire process to determine what type of insulation is right for you.

While there are a variety of types, one of the most popular forms of insulation we specialize in is spray foam insulation.

The Optimal Solution for a Powerful Insulator

Spray foam insulation is exactly what it sounds like. It is applied using a spray gun and is composed of polyurethane and isocyanate, which react chemically to expand and form a rigid foam.

At Radiant Drywall & Insulation, we proudly use ICYNENE spray foam insulation products.

Open-Cell and Closed-Cell: These are the two types of spray foam insulation. Open-cell is lighter and less dense compared to closed-cell foam. It consists of cells that are not completely closed, allowing air to fill the open spaces within the material.

Closed-cell is denser and has a higher R-value compared to open-cell foam. Its cells are completely closed, making it impermeable to air and water. It is commonly used in areas prone to moisture, such as basements and crawl spaces.
